Live In Paris includes a concert recording from the Olympia Theater in Paris on January 30, 1971, while Ike & Tina Turner were on tour in Europe. It was released on two vinyl records with a beautiful gatefold cover, including many live pictures from the duo. Unfortunately, at least the songs „City Girl, Country Man,“ River Deep, Mountain High and With A Little Help From My Friends were omitted from the originally setlist.

Released in 1971 on UA / Liberty Records in Europe on vinyl and cassette, Live In Paris reached #25 in Germany. It was reissued on compact disc for the first time in 1992. The album  was not released in America.
