Taking Off is a comedy movie from 1971, including a short cameo appearance from Ike & Tina Turner performing the song Goodbye So Long, while the parents watching their concert. The story is about a group of parents whose children have run away from home and the parents take the opportunity to rediscover their youth. The film received the „Golden Palm“ in Cannes and was nominated for several awards.
