Delilah’s Power was released one year after Ike & Tina separated. The title track was the only single release two years before, to promote their European tour. It includes also a different version of their 1970 hit single I Want To Take You Higher. The front cover is very unusual and futuristic. The pictures on the back cover are from Norman Seeff, who photographed Ike & Tina as well as Tina solo many times. The album was released in 1977 from United Artists Records on vinyl and was reissued on compact disc from EMI Records in 2000 and once again in 2011 from BGO Records on the double CD Delilah’s Power / Airwaves.
