I Want To Take You Higher is a reissue of two tracks from the album Come Together, both previously released as singles in 1970. The title track is a cover version from the band Sly and the Family Stone, while the b-side was written by the Beatles. The single was released in America and Germany as well as in Portugal, although the tracks are reversed on the Portuguese version with a sticker on the front cover: „From the movie All This And World War II“. This movie and soundtrack was released the same year, including a reworked version of the song Come Together. As in the credits of the album, this singles are only credited to Tina Turner.
