Tina & Queen Elizabeth

The Royal Variety Performance (also Royal Command Performance) is an annually televised variety show in the United Kingdom to raise money for the Royal Variety Charity, attended by members of the British Royal Family. It's presented as a live variety show, usually from a theatre in London and consists of family entertainment that includes comedy, music, dance, magic and other speciality acts.

Tina was a musical guest in 1989 at the London Palladium in attendance of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip. After many performances from other artists like Janet Jackson, Chris de Burgh and Jerry Lewis, Tina performed at the end of the show two songs from her recent album Foreign Affair live. Especially the live interpretation of I Don’t Wanna Lose You is surely one of the best live performances from Tina on television. Listen to it below.
