Saturday Night Live (SNL) is an American late-night television show, which premiered on NBC on October 11, 1975 under the original title NBC's Saturday Night. Tina Turner was three times guest with live performances and as a sketch partner.

Her first appearance was on invitation from Rod Stewart on October 03, 1981, where they performed the duet Hot Legs together. Shortly after this, Tina joined Rod again at his L.A. Forum concert in Los Angeles.

The second time was on February 2, 1985 with live performances of three songs from Tina’s Private Dancer album and the sketch „Ed Is In Love“ together with Martin Short.

The third and last time was on February 22, 1997, where Tina promoted her Wildest Dreams album with a live version of the song In Your Wildest Dreams and a funny sketch, together with Molly Shannon (as a crazy fan) and Alec Baldwin (as Roger Davies).
