Steven Meisel

Steven Meisel is an American fashion photographer who worked for many different fashion magazines, most notably Interview and Vogue. Meisel also contributed photos for album and single covers, including Madonna's „Like a Virgin“ and Mariah Carey's „Daydream.“ During his career he shot for Versace, Valentino and Dolce & Gabbana models including Linda Evangelista, Naomi Campbell and Christy Turlington, among others.

In 1984, he also photographed Tina Turner which resulted in the iconic cover picture on the October issue of Rolling Stone magazine.
