Supergold is a German sampler, mostly with songs from the longplayer Nutbush City Limits from 1973, Sweet Rhode Island Red from 1974 and Delilah’s Power from 1977. Many songs were written by Tina Turner herself. This 2LP set was originally released with a gatefold cover with two different cover pictures from Tina’s solo era, also under the different title „Gold Collection“, which features additionally extensive liner notes. It was reissued after Tina's comeback with new pictures from the Private Dancer photo session.
