Trailblazer is a compilation of songs from 1956 and early 1957, when Ike Turner’s Kings of Rhythm recorded for the Cincinnati-based Federal label. It includes vocal performances from Jackie Brenston, Billy Gayles and the group The Gardenias, all tracks with Ike Turner’s guitar pyrotechnics.
