Andrew MacPherson is an author and photographer, born in London. After he left school at fifteen, he assisted the legendary photographers Bob Carlos Clarke and Lord Snowdon. At twenty-three he became a photographer, shooting fashion for the magazines Elle, Bazaar and Vogue. After ten years in fashion he moved to Los Angeles to focus on creating images of the legends of entertainment. In 2008, he photographed Tina Turner and the resulting pictures were used for her compilation TINA!, the tour program for her 50th Anniversary Tour and the associated live album TINA Live.
