Anton Corbijn is a Dutch photographer, film and music video director. He is the creative director behind the visual output of Depeche Mode and U2, handled the principal promotion and sleeve photography for both bands over three decades. From the late 1970s he photographed on a regular basis for the weekly music magazine New Musical Express as well as for the monthly life style and music magazine „The Face,“ mostly in black and white. Corbijn has photographed musicians like Jimmy Page and Robert Plant, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Miles Davis, Kate Bush, Annie Lennox, amongst others.

On October 27, 1996 in Dortmund, Germany and once again on April 26, 1999 at her home in Nice, France, Anton Corbijn photographed also Tina Turner. Some of the pictures were published in the magazines „The New Yorker“ and „Entertainment Weekly.“

He also photographed Adrienne Warren in October 2019 for the American Vogue magazine when she moved from London to Broadway to play the part of Tina Turner in TINA - The Tina Turner Musical.
