Claude Mougin

Claude Mougin is a French photographer from Paris and began his career as a fashion and celebreties photographer in Los Angeles. He is famous for the LP covers of some of the greatest artists of the late 70's, including Olivia Newton John, Shawn Cassidy, Karen Carpenter, Gladys Knight, Smokey Robinson and Rod Stewart. After a few years he moved to New York where he worked for magazines like Vogue and Harpers Bazaar and directed his first movie and commercials.

For Tina Turner, he was responsible for the cover pictures for her first two solo albums after the split from Ike Turner with Rough in 1978 and Love Explosion in 1979.
