The Ed Sullivan Show was an American television variety show, broadcasted on CBS from June 20, 1948 to June 6, 1971 and was hosted by the New York entertainment columnist Ed Sullivan. Ike & Tina Turner were guests in 1970 and performed two songs live. Both tracks were released on the home video Rock’n Roll Classics in 2006.

Ed Sullivan: „Over the years, many couples performed together on 'The Ed Sullivan Show', like Louis Prima and Keely Smith, Gordon and Sheila MacRae and Steve Lawrence and Eydie Gorme. But none could top the power couple that was Ike and Tina Turner. The husband and wife R&B duo appeared only once on 'The Ed Sullivan Show', but their explosive performance is unforgettable.“
