Goodbye So Long was taken from the 1965 compilation album The Soul of Ike & Tina, promoted from the duo at several TV-Shows in America. A different version is available on the album Workin Together from 1971. After their live performance in the movie Taking Off in 1971, the single was also released in France with a different b-side track and a picture cover.
