Games People Play is a one-sided promotional record with a cover version of the Joe South written and performed song from 1968. The track was intended for release in 1972 on United Artists (50939) together with the track „Pick Me Up (Take Me Where Your Home Is)“ from the album Nuff Said, but was then cancelled.
Ike & Tina performed it live in their concerts, available on the album The World Of Ike & Tina from 1973. A studio version with lead vocals from Tina and Ike was released for the first time on the rarities sampler Good Old Times in 1991. Beside of the acetate from UA, there is at least another one available from DCT Recorders, featuring version D-5.
