Gold Collection is a German sampler, mostly with songs from the longplayer Nutbush City Limits from 1973, Sweet Rhode Island Red from 1974 and Delilah’s Power from 1977. Many songs were written by Tina Turner herself. This 2LP set was also released under the different title Supergold with a different cover picture and was reissued after Tina’s comeback with new pictures from the Private Dancer photo session. The gatefold cover features extensive liner notes from Hans-Guenther Schroeder. Together with this album, two tracks were reissued as singles.
