Midnight Special was an American late-night musical show on NBC, aired from 1972 until 1981. It was created and produced by Burt Sugarman and featured live performances from popular musical acts, including several times the Ike & Tina Revue. At their last appearance in 1975, Tina did a very rare performance of the track „Bayou Song,“ taken from her first solo album Tina Turns The Country On.
