Nutbush City Limits is a reissue with two of Ike & Tina’s greatest hits: The self-written Nutbush City Limits from 1973 and the duos biggest hit with Proud Mary from 1971. The single was released with different cover pictures to coincide with the release of some sampler like Gold Collection or Grootste Hits. The same tracks, but in reverse order were also released as part of the „Hit Story ,“ „Silver Spotlight“ and „Do You Remember“ series.
