The male spoken part was provided by Mickey Baker. Ike & Tina performed the song live in their early concerts, available on the album Festival of Live Performances. An instrumental version was released on the album Dance with Ike & Tina Turner’s Kings of Rhythm in 1962. Ike recorded a different version for the album River Deep, Mountain High and Tina recorded a new version with Laurence Fishburne for the soundtrack album What's Love Got To Do With It in 1993.
