The Midnight Special was an American late-night musical show on NBC, aired from 1972 until 1981. It was created and produced by Burt Sugarman and featured live performances from popular musical acts. Ike & Tina were several times guests in the show. At their last appearance in 1975, Tina did a very rare performance of the track „Bayou Song“ from her first solo album Tina Turns The Country On.
