Tina Turner - Music of Quality and Distinction (Vol. 1) - Album

Music Of Quality And Distinction (Vol. 1) is a sampler album from the British Electric Foundation (B.E.F.) with newly interpreted cover versions of classic songs. Tina was asked to record a new version of the Temptations hit Ball Of Confusion from 1970 with a modern instrumental background. Released as a single the same year, it became surprisingly a hit in the Norwegian charts. The CD contains a remixed version of the song, which is also available on the 1994 box set The Collected Recordings. For promotion, Virgin Records released also a 7“ vinyl promo record for radio stations. The following year, Martin Ware and Ian Craig Marsh produced also Tina's comeback single Let's Stay Together.
