Nice ’n’ Rough (The Later Greater Hits Of Ike & Tina Turner & The Ikettes) is a sampler with some of Ike & Tina’s greatest hits, covering the 1969-75 period of the duo. It features also some live versions and extensive liner notes on the back cover. The title was taken from the home video Nice ’N’ Rough with a concert at London's Hammersmith Apollo from 1982. (From the cover: „Some songs on this album are also featured in a Picture Music International video starring Tina Turner entitled Nice ’n’ Rough“). The cover design comes from 'Shoot That Tiger!‘, who was also responsible for the design of the album Private Dancer. The successor Tough Enough from the same year covered instead the years 1960-69.
