Nutbush City Limits is a live version of Tina’s self-written autobiographical song from 1973 and the first single from the album Live In Europe in Germany, instead of Addicted To Love in England.
The music video, directed by C. Alberto Sion, was taken from Tina’s record breaking concert at the Maracana stadium in Rio de Janeiro on January 16, 1988 as part of her Break Every Rule Tour. It shows Tina wearing a jeans, a white top and a jacket, performing the song live on stage with a firework in the background. Because it was not included on the Rio ’88 home video, it is still waiting for an official release.
Released in March 1988 in Germany from Capitol / EMI Records on 7“ & 12“ vinyl and 5“ CD, Nutbush City Limits reached #45. The single was not released in England and America.
