According to Guinness World Records, Tina Turner sold more concert tickets than any other solo concert performer in music history. After the split from Ike Turner, she was constantly on tour, rebuilding her solo career. Since her comeback, Tina promoted every album with sold out world tours from small venues to the biggest arenas in the world. In 1988, she broke the record for the largest audience ever assembled for a single performer at the Maracana stadium in Rio de Janeiro. Beside her tours, Tina also participated at several charity and special concerts like „Live Aid“. Her last tour was the „50th Anniversary Tour“ in 2008 / '09.
