Tina Turner - Ann-Margret Olsson - TV

Ann-Margret Olsson

TV (1975)

Ann-Margret Olsson was a TV-Special with music, dance and comedy. It was filmed in London, while Ann-Margret and Tina Turner promoted the movie Tommy and attended the premiere, together with other artists like Elton John.

Ann-Margret introduced Tina as her best friend and then both talked about the life of a performer in the music business, sitting on chairs and dressed in old-fashioned costumes. After they agreed that they want to continue the life on the road, they performed three songs live as a duet, both dressed in jeans. Curiously, although Tina performed solo, she was announced as 'Ike & Tina Turner' in the opening credits.
