Bananas was a German music and comedy show, aired from March 1981 until November 1984. The program featured sketches as well as local and international musical guests. Some performances were presented like a music video, which was new at this time. Tina Turner was twice guest in 1984 to promote her recent singles from the album Private Dancer.
