Friday Night Videos was an American music video show on NBC from July 1983 until May 2002. It was the network's attempt to capitalize on the emerging popularity of music videos as seen on MTV.
At Tina’s first appearance in 1984, she was interviewed with some live songs from the Nice 'N' Rough home video and two of her recent videos in between. In 1989, Tina presented some of her favorite videos together with Paul Schaffer. Paul is a big fan of Phil Spector, so he took the opportunity to ask some questions about the recording of River Deep - Mountain High. Additionally, she talked about the recording of her album Foreign Affair and riding horseback for the music video of the single The Best.
