Overnight Sensation is an autobiographical song, taken from the album Break Every Rule. It was released as a radio promo with the same version on both sides. A live version was also the b-side on the first singles from the album Live In Europe in 1988.

Although Overnight Sensation was never released as an official single, a very rare music video was produced, which was possibly also used as an advertisement for Mobil. It shows Tina with a jeans trouser and jacket, dancing around at a gas station as well as some scenes where she drives a truck. The clip was shown on the TV-Show The Tube in England on December 18, 1986.
