Rennbahn Express was a monthly Austrian youth magazine with the topics music, movies and stars. Tina Turner was several times topic in the magazine with stories and posters as well as with a multi-page special in 1990 about her recent Foreign Affair album and tour, sponsored by BASF. It includes a backstage- and homestory with many photos.
The same year, she received also the Goldene Pinguin Award, an annually Austrian award, choosen by the readers of the magazine. Tina Turner won in the category 'Best Female Singer'. The award was presented from Günther Stampf backstage before a concert in Brussel, Belgium as part of her Foreign Affair Tour. Tina was visibly touched and thanked the readers: 'With all my love to Austria'.
