Tina Turner - Show Some Respect - Single

Show Some Respect

Single (1985)

Show Some Respect is a very autobiographical song, because it was especially written for Tina. It is the last single in North America and Australia from the album Private Dancer, instead of I Can’t Stand The Rain in Europe. The single was reviewed in Billboard magazine in it’s issue from April 20, 1985. Tina promoted the song on Japanese television while she was on tour in Japan and performed a very different version with a totally different instrumental and with vocals partly playback and partly live.
