Tina Turner & Kate Preston - Book

Tina Turner (Kate Preston)

Book (1988)

Kate Preston tells the story of Tina Turner, the famous pop star in a simple language, including photographs from her life and concerts. It starts with Tina’s childhood in Nutbush and ends with her record breaking concert in Rio de Janeiro on January 16, 1988.

The book was first released 1988 in England and the same content was translated into German and released in 1994 with an additional transcript of an interview from the TV-Special The Best, shown on German speaking television. It was part of Tina’s Foreign Affair promotional tour in 1989 with the performance of five songs and the interview with the TV and radio moderator Barbara Stöckl. Again in 1999, the book was released a second time in England. All three editions were issued with different cover pictures.
