What You Get Is What You See is an up-styled country-tinged rock track featuring Eric Clapton on guitars and was released as the third single from the album Break Every Rule. Tina promoted the song at several TV-Shows and performed it live at her Break Every Rule Tour and twenty years later at her 50th Anniversary Tour. Live versions are available on the album Live In Europe from 1988 and TINA Live from 2009. The live version from the b-side was taken from the Break Every Rule home video. In 1989, the song was used in a commercial for the Australian New South Wales Rugby League.

The music video shows Tina with a blue mini dress and a jeans jacket outside on a stage near a gasoline station. While she is performing the song, we see some good looking men around her, according to the song text. At the end, Tina wears a jeans and drives away with a motorcycle. The clip was originally released on the What You See Is What You Get home video on VHS and later also on the Simply The Best video collection on DVD. In 2022, a remastered version was included into the Break Every Rule (Deluxe Edition) on DVD. It’s also available on Tina’s official YouTube channel.
