What’s Love Got To Do With It (Symphonic Version) includes brand new symphonic and string arrangements, recorded by the 50 piece London Studio Orchestra in the legendary Studio 2 at Abbey Road Studios. It was taken from the album „80’s Symphonic,“ with 15 iconic 80s songs from David Bowie, a-ha, Foreigner, Simple Minds, Simply Red, Tina Turner, Pretenders, Ultravox and many other timeless artists. In contrast to the original version of What’s Love Got To Do With It from 1984, it includes also a longer vocal performances from Tina, because this version isn’t faded out at the end of the song. The digital download was released in November 2018 from Parlophone / Warner Records worldwide.
From Ike & Tina Turner is also a very nice 'symphonic version' from the song Come Together available, which was included on the soundtrack album All This And World War II for the same-named movie.
