Tina Turner gave a private concert for the family of the sultan of Brunei in front of an audience of 300 at a party to celebrate the 19th birthday of the niece of Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah on April 26, 1996. Guests included celebrities flown in from around the world. The setlist was different than on the Wildest Dreams Tour and because one female dancer was ill, the choreographer Andrew Mournehis accompanied the other two female dancer on stage.
„We have actually signed a form saying we haven’t seen a thing,“ said Rory Madden, Tina’s sound engineer. „We haven’t seen anything except decadence beyond belief. There were gold doors, gold everything and 10,000 roses flown in from London for the party.“
This 3 CD set with an additional home video is packed in a yellow cardboard box with a hologram picture. It was produced only for the guests of Princess Hamidah’s birthday celebration and includes also the performance from Vanessa-Mae, who opened the concert.
