John Denver & The Ladies was an American music variety TV-Special on ABC, hosted by John Denver. Tina Turner was guest with the solo performance of the song „Big Spender“ and the duet „Downhill Stuff“ with John. The other ladies of the special were Valerie Harper, Cheryl Tiegs, Erma Bombeck and Cheryl Ladd. The program was sponsored by Dr. Pepper, for what Tina produced a commercial in 1975.
