Delilah’s Power was written by Tina Turner and is the title track of the same named album Delilah’s Power, which was curiously not released before 1977, after Ike & Tina’s separation. The single should promote the 1975 European tour, which started in London in October. Ike & Tina performed the song live at some tv shows in Europe, but never in their concerts. The b-side was taken from the album Nutbush City Limits and the American promotional disc contains a short spoken intro from Tina.  Delilah’s Power was released in October 1975 from United Artists Records only in Europe on 7“ vinyl.
