Poor Fool is the first single from the album Dynamite and the follow-up to their Grammy nominated It's Gonna Work Out Fine. The b-side was taken from the album The Soul of Ike & Tina Turner. A different version of the title track was already released in 1960 on the flip of the single You’re My Baby with the slightly different title „A Fool Too Long“. Ike & Tina promoted the song at the TV-Show American Bandstand in 1962. Another version is available on the rarities sampler Those Were The Days from 1991.

Ike & Tina Turner come thru in sensational follow-up (to „It's Gonna Work Out Fine“) fashion with this new Sue slice. It's a pounding, chorus-backed rock-a-cha-cha, tabbed „Poor Fool,“ that vocalist Tina and maestro Ike deck out with sock, dual-mart sales authority. Should spread like wild fire in the days to come. Flip's a fetching thump-a-rhythm entry that highlites a delightful vocal duet by Ike & Tina.
