The Sanremo Festival (Festival della Canzone Italiana) is a major music competition in the Ligurian town of Sanremo. It's the most important music competition in Italy and the oldest pop music competition in Europe, founded in 1951. The festival is organised by Radiotelevisione Italiana (Rai). Tina was several times guest at the show to promote her recent records. First in 1979, after the release of the album Rough and the last time in 2000 with the single Whatever You Need, taken from her last studio album Twenty Four Seven.
