Harry Langdon is a celebrity photographer for over 60 years with his own star on Sunset Blvd. in Los Angeles. He has captured some of entertainment’s most prominent figures during his tenure, including Diana Ross, Aretha Franklin, Janet Jackson and many others.

In 1977, he also photographed Tina Turner for which she brought three different costumes: A silk dress with red feathers, a white smoking and the iconic wing dress from Bob Mackie. In a video about the photo session, Harry explains that the Smoking was a breakaway suit and she wore the wing dress underneath, dancing around in the studio while Harry took the pictures.
