Tina Turner & Rod Stewart - Duet

Live in Los Angeles (Forum) 1981

Rod Stewart is a British rock singer-songwriter and one of the best-selling music artists of all time.

Rod  attended a concert from Tina at the Ritz in New York in October 1981, where she performed three of Rod’s songs, much to his delight. After the show, he invited her to join him the following day at the TV-Show Saturday Night Live for a duet on Hot Legs. In December, Tina was invited by Rod Stewart again, to join him at his L.A. Forum concert, where they performed two songs together. At the end of the concert, Tina and also Kim Carnes joined Rod once again on stage for the duet Stay With Me. The last collaboration between Tina and Rod was nine years later with the Marvin Gaye song It Takes Two, which was also a Pepsi commercial.
