IKE & TINA: Song

Shake A Tail Feather

was originally recorded in 1963 by the Chicago-based group The Five Du-Tones. The Ikettes performed the song solo in Ike & Tina Turner’s concerts before Tina came on stage. In 1968, Tina recorded a studio version for the album So Fine, released also as a single and in 1993, she recorded the track again for the soundtrack album What’s Love Got To Do With It.
