CashBox - March 16, 1974

Ike and Tina follow their hard driving „Nutbush City Limits“ with this equally super driving rocker. Not only does Tina do what she does best (and that is most definitely belt), but Ike gets some super licks in on his extra funky guitar. Item should perk up most any programmers playlist and make the disco crowd a very happy lot. Watch this one climb to the top soon. Flip: no info available.

Blues & Soul - June 4, 1974

Tina moves from Nutbush to Rhode lsland but the music is still the same. ln the Turner's case, though, that's an advantage because the sheer enthusiasm and vibrance is what sells them so well, so often. The rhythm simply never lets up and that's what gets the people up and dancing in the discos. If you liked "Nutbush" then the odds are that you'll find this equally affable. ****
