Love Thing is a previously unreleased track from the greatest hits sampler Simply The Best, taken from the Foreign Affair recording session. It was the third single in Europe and the first one in America. The version from the music video is slightly different and available on the Simply The Best video collection. As a special bonus, a poster package was released in the UK in addition to the regular single. The song „I’m A Lady“ from the b-side was previously unreleased.

New song featured on upcoming greatest-hits collection, “Simply The Best," is a swaggering rocker, replete with crunchy guitars and a muscular rhythm section. Tune and arrangement are a perfect match for Turner’s signature growl. A must for top 40 and album rock formats.
October last year, the TINA TURNER double album (single CD) SIMPLY THE BEST was released, which includes all hits from TINA TURNER since her sensational comeback with "Private Dancer" in 1984 — together with the associated home video. From "Let's Stay Together," the Grammy winning "What's Love Got To Do With It" and "We Don’t Need Another Hero" to the hits of her multi-platinum seller "Foreign Affair," this is the evidence that TINA truly deserves the title "First Lady Of Rock". SIMPLY THE BEST stays for weeks on top of the UK and German charts. "Love Thing" is after "Way Of The World" another single, which TINA TURNER has exclusively recorded for her hit album.
