A Change Is Gonna Come is a song from Sam Cooke, first released on his album „Ain't That Good News“ in 1964. Tina Turner covered it in 1986 for her Break Every Rule TV-Special together with Robert Cray on guitar and recorded also a studio version, released as a bonus track on the German soundtrack album Zabou one year later. In 1991, a remixed version was included into the sampler Music of Quality and Distinction (Vol. 2) from BEF. The promo single from 1987 features the original version and the flexi single from 1991 the remixed version.
