Black Beauty is a French sampler featuring songs with lead vocals from Tina Turner, The Ikettes and Fontella Bass, mostly taken from the album Cussin', Cryin' And Carryin’ On as well as some instrumental tracks from the Ike Turner solo album A Black Man’s Soul, both originally released in 1969. All tracks were also included in the compilation Vibes from 1975, but expanded to 2LP’s and the same collection of songs was re-issued in 1978 with a different cover picture under the „Collection Or“ series. The album was also included into the box set Fabulous in 1982.
