Bold Soul Sister (the best of the blue thumb recordings) features selected tracks from the album The Hunter and Outta Season - both released from Blue Thumb Records in 1969. It includes with I’ve Been Loving You Too Long Ike & Tina’s live signature song and with „I Am A Motherless Child“ a track written by Tina Turner, which she re-recorded in 2014 for the album Love Within. All cover pictures were photographed by Norman Seeff at a session in 1975, while the duo performed an amazing version of Nutbush City Limits right there in the studio.
