Bruce Weber is an American fashion photographer and filmmaker. In the early days of his career, he was a model and appeared in Brut and Clairol commercials. In 1974, the art director for GQ magazine hired Weber for a day-long shoot in New Jersey. Very few photographers worked with men and none of them pictured them as Weber could. He made them fashionable, idealized and desirable. Later he did campaigns for Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, Pirelli, Revlon and Gianni Versace and shoot many cover pictures for magazines like Vogue, Vanity Fair and Rolling Stone. In 1991 he worked with Tina Turner for the pictures for her greatest hits album Simply The Best.
