IKE & TINA: Single

Somebody Needs You (1965)

Ike & Tina Turner - Somebody Needs You - Single

Somebody Needs You is a very rare single with two previously unreleased non album tracks. The title track is stylistically very unusual for Ike & Tina, because their song material was in the mid sixties harder and more R&B. A version with audience overdubs was also included on the album The Ike & Tina Turner Show (Vol. 2). An additional four track extended play single was realeased in England, including two live tracks from the album Live - The Ike & Tina Turner Show (Vol. 1). Both songs were reissued on the sampler The Warner Brothers Years in 1988.
