The W.C. Handy Blues Awards (now Blues Music Award) are presented annually in Memphis, Tennessee from the Blues Foundation since 1980 for special services to the blues. Ike Turner won the award in 2002 for his album Here And Now. Ike was present at the ceremony, where he played piano at a all-star performance together with B.B. King, Roscoe Gordon, Marvel Thomas and Little Milton on the song 3 O'Clock Blues. The performance is featured in the documentary The Road To Memphis from 2003.
