You Got What You Wanted is the first single, taken from the album Cussin', Cryin' & Carryin’ On, while the b-side track was taken from the album So Fine. The sinlge is credited for the first time to „Tina Turner with Ike Turner & The Kings of Rhythm“. Ike & Tina promoted the song at the tv show Hollywood Palace in 1968, together with Sammy Davies Jr. A remixed version of the title track is available on the download album „Ain't Nobody's Business“. You Got What You Wanted was released in November 1968 from Pompeii Records in America on 7“ vinyl.
